THE STORY SO FAR
Formed in 2001, in Monifieth, the band is four-piece, comprising Guitar, Keyboards, Bass and Drums.
Musical inspiration ranges from the rock/blues styles of Gary Moore, Stevie-Ray Vaughan, Thin Lizzy and Dire Straits, to the classic rock sounds of Pink Floyd.
If you venture to a Midnight Blues Band gig, you'll enjoy sharp guitar playing, layered with rich Hammond organ tones, driven on by up-lifting, punchy blues rhythms.
You'll also enjoy hearing the highly melodic classic compositions of Floyd, played accurately and faithfully.
Regular performers at the Dundee Blues Bonanza, the band is used to playing to full houses, and is always encouraged by the enthusiasm shown by the audiences for these styles of music.

PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS
Monifieth and district under thirteen Air guitar champion at the age of fourteen, his mother told him to get something solid in his hands. (wrong thing to say to a teenage boy!) Today, the benefit of his earlier pastime can be seen as he effortlessly glides his hand back and forth along the neck of his Les Paul, bringing it to a screeching pentatonic climax.
Moving through rock, pop covers, Scottish traditional/rock fusion, club and Cabaret work has brought Steve to where he is today.........................totally confused!
Come and see him with your own ears!

PREVIOUS CONVICTIONS
Coming from a long line of pipers, Jim got tired of standing in a queue behind drunken kilted Scotsmen, so packed in the chanter at seven. That gave him time for a wash before Coronation street. Picked up his first bass guitar aged 18, but it dumped him 3 weeks later due to irreconcilable differences. Sold his soul round the clubs for a few years learning a healthy disrespect for music, and finally joined Steve and Malcolm in therapy (not a band - the medical type). Grumpy old men, the blues.............you do the math!
